Clubhouse
All guests must be accompanied by a Member while at the Club
MCC is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is permitted outside by Members and their guests
With the exception of service dogs, pets are not permitted on the Midland Country Club golf course, practice facilities, common areas, or in the buildings
Cell phone and computer use are permitted as long as it is not disruptive to other Members and their guest
All dining and clubhouse activities will be billed to your member account - including any guest charges. Gratuities for service that exceeds members’ expectations are allowed and may either be charged to your account or paid in cash
Clubhouse Dress Code and Age Requirements
Wildfire Grille: business casual attire, children must be over 12
Hearthside & Patio Dining: casual attire, all ages are welcome
The Bar: Casual attire, children must be over the age of 16 after 4pm
Downstairs Lounge: casual attire - sportswear acceptable, must be 21+
Private Rooms: dress is dependent on the type of event
Fitness Center
Must be at least 12 years old to use the Fitness Center
A parent or guardian must directly supervise children ages 12-15 years
Proper work-out attire is required
Clean the equipment after use with designated cleaning wipes, towels, and cleaning solution
30-minute limit on cardiovascular equipment during peak hours
Return equipment (dumbbells, mats, etc) to their proper storage area
Food is not allowed in the Fitness Center
Only beverages in a plastic, spill-proof bottle are permitted
Cell phone conversations may be a distraction to others but may be used for listening to audio or using fitness-related applications
Peloton bikes require a reservation for use. Please reserve your ride on the MCC website or app
If Midland Public Schools cancel for inclement winter weather, all morning
group fitness classes will be canceled. Any class starting at 12pm or after will run as scheduled. If the weather remains dangerous throughout the day, afternoon classes may be canceled and will be posted on our Facebook page.
Golf
All players must check in with the Golf Shop before starting your round
Fivesomes are not permitted on the course unless approved by the Golf Shop
To prevent congestion, slow and inexperienced players are encouraged to allow faster players to play through. If you are a full hole behind, then you are not keeping pace
Divots are to be replaced and pressed down firmly. Ball marks on the greens must be repaired. Raketraps after use. Please use the sand & seed bottle provided when needed
No stroke other than a putt shall be played on the putting green. A ball that comes to rest on the wrong green may be placed off the green no nearer the hole without penalty (Hole 7 & 9)
Golf Dress Code
Typical golf clothing is required, as exemplified by our golf staff and the LPGA Tour
Males must wear a shirt (tucked in) with a collar, shorts, or dress slacks
Females must wear a sleeveless/short-sleeved shirt with a collar or a long-sleeved shirt without a collar with shorts, skort, or dress pants. Leggings may be worn under a skort/shorts. All hats and/or visors must be worn forward during practice and play
Shortshorts, halter tops, tank tops, denim/cargo pants or shorts, and jogging shorts are not allowed
Violators of this rule will be asked to leave the course. If further violations occur, a report will be provided to the Board of Directors, and playing privileges may be suspended
Aquatic Center
Appropriate swimwear is required
Pool toys (balls, etc) may be used at the discretion of the lifeguards
Food and snacks are not allowed in the pool area - beverages are okay- no glass
During peak hours, lounge chairs are reserved for adults only. Lifeguards and management reserve the right to request that your child forfeit their lounge chair for adult use if necessary
Children 10 & under or those who require a flotation device must be with an adult or babysitter
